Next, following Sage's alerts, our inspector performs a detailed assessment using moisture meters, thermal imaging, and environmental diagnostics. This layered approach confirms problem areas and reveals conditions supporting mold growth.

About Us
TrueSight K9s was founded by Heather Gonzalez after her husband and children were greatly affected by mold in their home. Due to the location of the mold being in the HVAC system, it went undetected for many months and led to prolonged health risks to her and her family. Experiencing firsthand how hidden mold can affect health, mental clarity, and overall peace-of-mind, Heather's renewed perspective motivated her to create a service that helps other families uncover hidden mold issues, heal their homes, and improve their overall well-being. The challenging journey through personal mold exposure taught her how to obtain the valuable skills and tools for identifying mold-toxin symptoms and locating the likely problem areas in the home.

Together with Sage, her law enforcement-trained and mold-detection-focused Belgian Malinois, she provides non-destructive, family-safe mold detection.

We created the business in the state of New Jersey because our military service had brought us here. Our adventure continues to the state of Colorado in 2026. Our work blends K9 precision with moisture-detecting equipment to create an empathetic, health focused approach rooted in years of hands-on experience with mold and mycotoxin recovery.
